NEW YORK CONVENTION, 1958.

Date of accession: 22 December 1972.

Entry into force for : 22 March 1973.

Limited to Awards:

 

"In accordance with the terms of article I, paragraph 3, [the NYC] shall have effect only as regards the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards made by another Contracting State and shall be valid only with respect to commercial relationships." Territorial application:
On accession Denmark declared that the NYC would not apply to the Faeroe Islands or Greenland. On 10 February 1976 notification of extension to these territories was made.
