New York Convention 1958-1999.
Though a little dated, we
hoped this graphic would make
the point about the "rise and
rise" of the New York
Convention.

NEW YORK CONVENTION, 1958.

Entry into force for :

"Referring to paragraphs 1 and 2 of article X of the Convention, France declares that this Convention will extend to all the territories of the French Republic."
Notification was received on 26 June 1959 that the NYC applied to all the territories of the French Republic.

Note (from entry for France):
"...France declares that it will apply the Convention on the basis of reciprocity, to the recognition and enforcement of awards made only in the territory of another contracting State."
