  • Commercial Arbitration Research Institute external link
The Commercial Arbitration Research Institute (CARI) was established in 1972 for research and study on arbitration as an affiliated organization of The Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA). CARI considers and determines a specific subject concerning its research and study at an annual meeting, and then commissions appropriate experts such as scholars and lawyers in Japan and overseas to do such research and study. The achievements have been published as research theses. In addition, CARI has collected information on arbitration and publishes a collection of Arbitration Laws and Rules.
Please note that considering the extensive publication of research on and other studies on arbitration in the JCA Journal, CARI has currently suspended its research and study programme.
